National Construction Code & BCA

The National Construction Code is composed of three volumes. Volume 1 and 2  form the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and Volume 3 is the Plumbing Code

• BCA has included the performance requirements for volumes :
  • BCA Volume 1-Building Classes : 2-9
  • BCA Volume 2-Building Classes : 1 and 10
• BCA states
  • Performance data determined to AFRC guidelines
  • Reporting of single “winter” value for the total U-Value
  • Reporting of a single “summer” value for the SHGC
